For recruitment purposes
Your personal data, submitted by you, are intended for use and treatment by the Team and Culture Department for the selection and recruitment processes. The treatment of this personal data is based on your free, expressed and informed consent.

To communicate with you
We may send you service-related messages and notifications. These include notifications that are part of the service. You can control what these notifications are and when to receive them. We also send administrative messages regarding your Grantbook subscriptions, technical status updates and other related notifications.We may also send you messages or call you regarding new product features and helpful tips on using the product and to offer training and support. You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services without this information. We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with a service.

For payments and billing
We collect payment and billing data from Grantbook’s customers for fulfillment of payments for the Service.

To help improve our service, our website and to develop new features and functionality, we collect and analyze usage information. Processing User Data for analytics purposes is done in aggregated or anonymized form.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically, instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account with Grantbook, or have submitted information via forms on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.  Data may also be sent to data analytics partners such as Google.  No personally identifiable information is shared unless prior consent has been made.

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing We will respond to your request within 30 days.

How we protect your data
We protect your data with the latest security and backup hardware and software. We partner with 3rd party backup providers to ensure data is backed up and stored.  All data is protected behind a firewall, encrypted, 2FA and with other security methods.We take security seriously and do what we can within commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information from loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. That said, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

What data breach procedures we have in place
We protect your data from breaches with the latest technologies using industry accepted measures, including and beyond firewalls, 2FA and encryption.  If any breach of personal data is made we will ensure to notify you directly.

What third parties we receive data from
We receive data from such partners as Google regarding site visitors. This data is not person specific unless this person has given consent. This data may include things like country, city, age range, likes & interest, company, company size and industry.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites and cannot assume responsibility for their treatment of your personal information.
